Non invasive Hair Support After Cancer Treatment

Hair loss is one of the most visible and emotionally complex side effects of chemotherapy. For many patients, it’s more than a physical change, it can impact confidence, identity, and the sense of feeling like yourself during an already overwhelming time. It can leave survivors searching for supportive options that feel safe and restorative.

We’re grateful to highlight community partners who step forward in meaningful ways. Fivi of Skin Fix Camouflage is offering the first hair support treatment complimentary for cancer patients, with any additional hair treatments available at a discounted rate. Her approach focuses on gradual, supportive progress and overall scalp health for individuals navigating post-treatment hair changes.

Below, Fivi shares more about her work and how this specialized support may help.

Hello I’m Fivi, the paramedical tattoo practitioner at Skin Fix Camouflage – a medical spa in Scottsdale, where we focus on restorative appearance treatments for individuals navigating visible changes after medical care. Much of our work with survivors centers on hair support following chemotherapy or periods of significant physical stress.

Hair regrowth after treatment can feel unpredictable. Even when it returns, it may appear thinner, more fragile, or uneven. Our hair support treatment is designed to encourage a healthier scalp environment and improve the look of hair density over time, without aggressive or overwhelming approaches or downtime recovery.

Using a precise, controlled tattoo needling technique combined with a professional scalp and hair -support serum, the goal is to gently stimulate and support the hair follicle in a measured way. This approach is intended to support scalp and hair health, strengthen existent and fragile regrowth, and improve the appearance of density over time — focusing on gradual, supportive progress rather than dramatic promises. Timing and overall wellness are always considered before moving forward.

In addition to hair support, we also provide restorative treatments for surgical scars and stretch marks, helping improve overall texture and appearance for those who want to feel more like themselves again.

FAQ

Is one session enough?
In most cases, yes. We’ve seen great results, though outcomes depend on the individual and where they are in their hair cycle. Many survivors experience slower hair growth after treatment, so this can be a helpful boost in the recovery process. Some people choose to repeat the treatment, especially if other underlying factors affecting hair growth are present. Treatments can be repeated every 4–6 weeks if needed.

How much does it cost?
When you fill out the form, you will be offered one complimentary session. Any additional treatments are available at $350 (regularly $650).

What can I expect?
The treatment takes about one hour and is performed in our med spa treatment room. It is a safe procedure with no bleeding. Some mild discomfort may be experienced and varies by individual, but numbing is not used, as the treatment is most effective without a barrier between the scalp and the serum. The scalp may appear slightly pink for up to 24 hours and feel mildly tender.

Is everyone eligible?
Generally, yes, though there are some limitations. This treatment is not recommended during pregnancy, ongoing chemotherapy, or active cancer treatment. The scalp should also be in good overall health prior to treatment.

If you’re wondering whether this treatment is right for you, we invite you to fill out the intake form to schedule a consultation and explore your options.
